Idea: WAR AGAINST WASTE

Australia sends 7.6 million tonnes of household and commercial food waste to landfill every year. On average, households throw away $2,500 worth of groceries annually—that’s one in every five shopping bags ending up in the bin.

The challenge? Getting Australians to stop and think about what waste goes into which bin, to improve recycling and waste separation.

The problem is that many Australians see their bins simply as containers for rubbish—not as tools for change. Colour is the key asset to shift this perception and drive awareness about sorting waste properly.

Our approach: launch a nationwide W.O.W Tour—a vibrant, creative challenge inspiring Aussies to rethink recycling and waste separation. Supported by progressive, well-known artists, the tour transforms garbage bins and other well know plastic items into blank canvases for change.

With art templates, decals, workshops, and toolkits, everyday Australians get empowered to reimagine their bins—and through the power of colour, shift the way they think about waste.

The idea: Colour the Change-Empowering Aussies to transform waste with colour and creativity.

Real life moments bring consumers face to face with the problem, these activations would support our Tour around Australia.

Colour & Art to shift behaviours.
